Ghost Poet

Thanks to Shevlonius who I teefed this find from. Ghost Poet's style was best described by an author on Last Fm as a "handful of off-kilter, loopy electronic ditties blessed with his delightfully rambling musings on modern life." I'd say his style has elements of Trip Hop, great slightly fragmented electronic beats, with a poetry jam feel... Def worth a library addition.

Following my 'alien army' post... 'the controls' seemed like the next obvious spitting point. OK... sooooo.... DJ'ing with several elements... I think the highlight of the controls, is the fact that they drop some jazzy female vocals over top of effortless and versatile DJ'ing... Yah trick yah!

Dr.Octagon

Dr.Octagon.... a STAPLE in any Trip Hop diet.... few people run this style and pull it off... I think the only ones I am away of are, the aforementioned DR, MF doom, and Earthling... so if Trip hop is your thing make sure to stock up on their Trippy goodness...

MF Doom

MF Doom... smoooth and easy vocals over equally smooth intrumentals... Doom is an amazing lyricist... probably one of the best I've heard as far as rap goes, and definitely hip hop. Listen to DOOM.... I used to have his whole discography but cut down to MM Food, which is my favorite of his albums... but by all means go nuts.

Oh... and for those that didn't know Mr.MF DOOM always wears a mask, it's rumoured no one has seen him without it?? lulz
